These creatures are created when a vampire completely drains it's victim. While most victims die, some will “survive” and become vampire spawns. They are stronger and faster then average for the race of the victim, and more durable. They also possess the bite and aversion to sunlight of vampires, but lack their regeneration or ability to turn into mist.

Vampire spawns will obey their Masters and serve to the best of their ability. They often are used to find and retrieve new victims, relying on ambush and overbearing them.
