Origin: The Orkan Horde

Two mounted (usually horses, but not always) teams compete to place a headless goat (or calf) into their opponent’s goal. The goals are usually marked circles set up at opposite ends of a large field. Technically no weapons are allowed, but participants whip and tackle their opponents. While some matches are short, others have been known to last for days.
